Inadequate Security Levels

IT systems are inherently complicated for a non-technical user.

 

The functioning of most IT systems is at best “unclear” and in reality too difficult to understand whether the required data privacy security standards are in place to protect data privacy rights.

 

The global security protection standards, ISO 27001, and the more specific ISO 27701, allows for the “objective” determination of the existence of adequate security protections.

By requesting results or certifications from auditors and conducting IT security testing, users can be assured of the facts as opposed to the claims of compliance with such standards.
